About Eco-Friendly

 Eco-Friendly Foam

Eco-friendly foam refers to foam products that are produced using environmentally friendly processes that do not harm the environment or use harmful materials. The independent international certification body, CertiPUR-US, inspects all processes involved in foam production and grants certification for these eco-friendly foam processes. The memory foam used in all OleeSleep products is eco-friendly foam produced through environmentally friendly processes certified by CertiPUR-US.

Generally, eco-friendly foam is made using sustainable and renewable materials such as natural latex, plant-based polyols, or recycled scrap foam. These materials completely replace petroleum-based materials commonly used in foam production and realize eco-friendly processes.

The production process of eco-friendly foam is also designed to minimize waste and reduce energy consumption, resulting in a lower carbon footprint than traditional foam production methods. Additionally, eco-friendly foam can be further enhanced by adding eco-friendly additives or coatings to improve the basic performance and durability of foam.

There are various independent third-party organizations, such as the Global Organic Latex Standard (GOLS), that certify whether the production process of foam products meets eco-friendly standards. All certification bodies thoroughly inspect all processes involved in foam production and grant certification marks after verifying their suitability against various criteria.

All OleeSleep foam products are produced through processes that meet eco-friendly standards certified by CertiPUR-US, and all materials and additives are certified to use eco-friendly sustainable materials.

 Eco-Friendly Fabric

OEKO-TEX is a global certification system that tests and certifies textiles and fabrics for sustainability, human health, and safety. OEKO-TEX certified fabrics are made without harmful chemicals, toxins, or other hazardous substances that could have negative impacts on human health and the environment.

OEKO-TEX certified fabrics are produced in ways that reduce their environmental impact, such as reducing water consumption and chemical usage during production. Additionally, to receive this certification, specific environmental and social standards such as fair labor practices, safe working conditions, and ethical business practices must be followed in addition to the manufacturing process.

By using OEKO-TEX certified fabrics in all of their products, OleeSleep mattresses provide consumers with the assurance that the product they are purchasing is environmentally friendly, safe, and sustainable.
